Rev. Juliet Schimpf
Rev. Juliet Schimpf was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario.
She has two older brothers who taught her all about fishing and basketball.
She attended the University of Ottawa, followed by the University of Oxford,
to study politics and theology. While studying in England, Juliet accepted
Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour.
She then went on to attend McMaster Divinity College, from which she graduated
with the Principal’s Gold Medal in 2007. Juliet recently served at Bromley
Road Baptist Church in Ottawa as the Pastor of Christian Education. She is
now serving as the Minister of First Baptist Church, Perth.
Juliet is married to Michael, an economist at Statistics Canada. She enjoys
traveling, and has visited India on two occasions.
Her favourite Bible personality is John the Baptist. Juliet is passionate
about preaching, evangelism, and discipleship. Her personal mission statement
is the following: “To proclaim boldly the truth, the relevance and the urgency
of Jesus Christ’s Gospel. (Romans 1:16)
